Valley Families Win Shopping Spree

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- Four families in the Valley received an early Christmas gift they won't soon forget.

They each won a shopping spree on Monday at the Harrisonburg Target. This is all due, in part, to a group called Libre by Nexus, which is dedicated to helping immigrants in the Valley.

The group said the families each received $1,000 per child and were nominated by their case managers.

Libre by Nexus said this is all part of their annual Christmas Miracle Program, which they hope brings happiness to immigrants living in the Valley.
