Our Mission
Our mission is to give hope to those who have lost it and to help those without a voice in the immigration system. Our programs allow detained immigrants to post their bonds and be reunited with their families, without having to pay the full amount of their bonds. Our goal in assisting immigrant detainees to be released from custody is to help them prepare for their cases and argue their claims of relief.
We believe that imprisoning immigrant detainees for extended periods of time without providing counsel is unnacceptable, and we hope that our programs will help immigrant detainees be released so that they can engage with an attorney to manage their immigration cases.
Our Story
Our programs have grown since being created in 2009. The vision of our organization has always been to serve people who have claims of relief and who need to be free in order to support their families, hire a lawyer, and prepare for their cases. Every Libre by Nexus associate understands the critical work we do everday, serving our clients in order to secure their release and reunite them with their families.
Nexus began as a part of a ministry to people in jail, and our organization is built upon the principal of respecting and affirming the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Our program attempts to make an imperfect system work for more people. When you call Libre by Nexus you will speak to a caring, compassionate person who has the ability to help you and your loved one. We will collect your information and work to process your loved one's release, if possible, as soon as we can. Once the process is completed we can secure the release of your loved one the same, or the very next day.

Our team of attorneys and support staff are passionate about their work, and we are mission driven to help free as many detained immigrants as possible.
