For high risk defendants and sentenced offenders, Nexus Programs offers state of the art GPS tracking services. Our GPS devices allow for real time 24 hour GPS tracking, inclusion/exclusion zones, house arrest, and real time reporting. Offender funded GPS tracking mitigates risk and reduces jail overcrowding.

PRETRIAL MONITORING
Judicial officers appreciate understanding that pretrial defendants can be monitored in the community. Nexus monitoring offers an offender funded solution for defendants that need to be monitored in order to mitigate the risks of releasing them pending trial. Daily or weekly reporting programs, coupled with drug and alcohol monitoring, are available.
Nexus uses the most reliable urinalysis drug screening available on the market today. Drug screening for pretrial or sentenced defendants, juveniles, or potential or current employees are available. Drug tests are administered by trained personnel, and results are available immediately. Results of the test can be confirmed by independent lab analysis for use in legal proceedings.

ALCOHOL TESTING
Nexus can provide on site or in field alcohol monitoring for pre or post trial defendants, businesses, institutions, schools, and medical facilities. We can provide BAC information through the use of breath analysis equipment, and can provide certification of those results. We can also provide alcohol monitoring bracelets to detect alcohol consumption for pretrial or post trial defendants.
In order to reduce recidivism in our communities, Nexus Programs operate a volunteer based offender reentry program that assists incarcerated, sentenced defendants in establishing home and work plans for their release. Nexus volunteers will contact their family or friends to secure housing, work to secure an offer of employment upon release, and certify these plans to state probation/parole officers.
Nexus offers offender diversion programs as part of a larger pretrial monitoring plan, or as stand alone services. We offer referrals to drug and alcohol treatment programs, and we offer anger management, theft diversion, and domestic violence deterrent and prevention programs. Offender diversion programs are customized for offenders and certifications will be issued for program completion.

Our goal is to provide intensive community based supervision and resources that support rehabilitation or mitigation of risks while also providing real opportunities for pretrial defendants and post conviction offenders an opportunity to learn and grow from their experiences in the criminal justice system. All of our programs are offender funded.
